FASHION/ Swing it Sista
Swing When You’re Winning
My entire wardrobe is fast becoming very blue…
You may recognise the necklace- it’s the same one featured in my ‘Mono Magic’ post but in a different colour, I couldn’t decide which I liked more so I bought both colours! It also meant that I got to support a local business, Filthy Gorgeous in Hull.
Swing Dress – Glamorous (www.glamorous.co.uk) there are lots of other prints/colours available in this style on the site too
Cleated Boots – Matalan (www.matalan.co.uk)
Necklace – Filthy Gorgeous (find them on Facebook and Twitter @filthyGORGEOUS4)Definitely another of my go to summer frocks for an easy day time look.

FASHION/ My Holiday Hit List
This is just a small part of it, I am a girl after all so obviously there’ll be far more going in the case than these gems!
New Look (www.newlook.co.uk)
These espadrilles are practically identical to the Chanel version so are a great buy! The plan is to mix and match the bikinis so that I have four looks for the price of two. Sneaky-chic right there
River Island (www.riverisland.co.uk)
Everyone needs a good hate to stop their scalp getting burnt, and everything else can be dressed up or down depending when I the day it’s worn
ILWF (www.inlovewithfashion.co.uk)
This candy pink print shirt is everything! It’s totally getting used as a kimono over my denim cut offs (it also comes in a rally nice boyfriend jacket). I plan on hitting a couple of beach clubs so the bright dresses are ideal for comfy day to night colour pop stylish-ness.
In The Style (www.inthestyle.co.uk)
This co-ord is great for those who don’t like showing too much off, and the dress is a fab combo of one of my fave prints and summer colours
Misguided (www.misguided.co.uk)
They are one of the best for co-ords right now, in so many different prints and shapes. They just make sense as you have two pieces to pair with other things!
I best get back to packing now, I don’t have long to go…keep an eye out for the holiday posts in August, and of course others in between.

FASHION/ Getting Shirty…
But in the best way! Shirt dresses are so easy to wear – cool, flattering and lightweight. This is not my first shirt dress post (see my white InTheStyle number in the ‘Mono Magic’ post) and it sure won’t be the last!
This is definitely going to be worn to death over the summer – I’m planning to pair it with my Converse or White cleated ankle boots and a slouch bag next. It’s good to take a trusted fave a mix it up occasionally!

FASHION/ Here Comes the Bride…
This was a completely unplanned post, but I was inspired by seeing Fearne Cotton’s wedding pics this morning. She looks gorgeous! Very bridal, yet hasn’t compromised any sense of her true self to fulfil the ‘role’ or Bride. So I thought I’d share my fave celebrity wedding looks of recent times (if I shared all of the ones I’ve gone nuts over, we’d be here a while!)
1- Fearne Cotton
Enough said above I think!
2- Olivia Palermo
The same as Fearne, she has her own style and wanted to stamp that on her look for her big day. This is exactly what Carrie B should’ve worn when she married Mr Big!
3- Keira Knightly
She had a dress she already owned, loved and had great memories from so thought that was her perfect look….that’s literally THE best thought process ever! I will admit though I was a teeny bit disappointed that she later said she had a full on wedding gown made for a later celebration
4- Princess Beatrice
Ok I know this one isn’t a wedding dress. But it should be, it’s gorgeous!
That’s it for now, I’m going to work on a wedding guest diary in the next few weeks to go with this one….tis’ the season to be bridal!

FASHION/ Clashing it up…. #selfie
Just a quick post today on my way out to get some more style inspiration! As I mentioned Carrie Bradshaw is one my ultimate style icons, so today I thoughts I’d try and channel a bit of her in my outfit. In true Carrie style my outfit is a total bargain buy, but unfortunately unlike Ms B I haven’t been able to finish it off with a pair of Manolos! But my cute block heels as just as good I reckon.
xxSkirt- Dorothy Perkins
Top- Primark
Sunnies- Primark
Shoes- New LookApologies for the rubbish selfies! Have a stylish day
