What else is a girl to do on a hot day but wander around looking totally cool….?

This is one of my fave dresses of the season – i adore pastel colour, skater style and off the shoulder top (no tan lines, woop woop!). I was inspired a little in the styling by Lilah Parsons by adding a chunkier necklace (my face lips,mmi sure you recognise them by now!) and Converse to make the dress a bit more casual and ‘ghetto’. However, I also popped on a pair of cork heels and my quilted RI bag and wore this to a wedding recently too, so very versatile. The dress comes in sooooo many any colours (I’ve insta-picced a few of my faves below) I badly wanted the mint version but it sold out in my size, boo!

The bag was a Christmas gift from my mum (embarrassingly for her, she got the colour of my eyes wrong!). It goes everywhere with me from uni to the beach! I like that it’s from a local company as it shows Hull (City of Culture 2017 y’all) has some great talent and entrepreneurial spirit.

Street Style

Olivia and Miranda are two of my faves, so stylish and elegant. Why am I not one of them?!?! Sigh.

Evening Style

The Whitmore is another of my fash crushes on this side of the pond, always nails it! And can we just take a moment to remember that Amanda is in her 40s and still looks totally bangin’ and summery in this colour printed masterpiece.

Wedding Style

As I said, ’tis the season, and I’m totally not disappointed! My jaw was on the floor when I saw Roch’s frock in the paper this morning at Frankie’s wedding (cannot wait to see the pics of the new Mrs Bridge, congrats!) those shoes…. Mich is doing the best sort of publicity by wearing a dress from her own Lipsy collection (www.lipsy.co.uk) which will surely be sold out many times over by the end of the summer as a result.

This is one of my FAVE dresses so far this year

I wore this for to the Doncaster races back in March (and the weather was just as glorious then if you can believe it). There’s something about it that’s so different, yet so classic about it, and I think this is why I can see it in my wardrobe for a little while yet! And….it’s extremely purse friendly. It would also look fab paired with a block heel for the grass surfaces at racecourses, and I really like that my bag has that Chanel vibe with the quilting.
