I adore a good print, and #stripes have always been one of my faves (I’m sure you’re all sick of me raving about my stripey tee obsession) it’s going to be HUUUGE for the coming season, some celebs are already getting in there with the trend and are looking fab in the process
Farfetch currently have a widget where you can discover who your #stripeicon should be and how you’d be most likely to want to embrace stripes. I honestly was a total mixture, Id embrace them in all ways suggested! But I did manage to narrow down a ‘Top 5’ Wishlist

I think these pieces are my faves because I can see them working really well with sooo many pieces that are in my wardrobe right now, especially thre monochrome as you know I’m the biggest fan! The brightly coloured chevron pieces (there are loads more on the site, nicely done Valentino!) are going to to be a great colour pop for the summer or a fabulous accent to those of us who are daring to be brave and colour block it uuuuup.

FASHION / Dressed for Battle
Never a truer word written! And the perfect saying for this print/camo/Bomber combo. If id have just added my #aviators I could’ve totally been in Top Gun or something! This week I finally discovered the joys of the Selfy Stick so I thought I’d have a go at shooting my own pics with it in the urban jungle….
Yes, I’ve bought my fave Jamie #jeans in ANOTHER colour….clearly after years of not buying jeans I’ve given myself licence to go a bit denim kerazaaaaay! Because of the Capri length they’re really good for showing off a good shoe, and I’ve been living in these babies (tip: wear trainer socks). I’m also kind of living in the bomber as its the perfect lightweight cover up for this weird weather we’ve been having, I’m sorely tempted to get it in the green too…And I’ve mentioned many many times before that every girl should have a stripey tee as part of her wardrobe staple; this is proof that I practice what I preach!

FASHION/ Weekly Style Round Up
I’m going to start by saying
May the warmer and sunny weather make our smiles a little bigger! Now, onto the clothes…
I’m still fine with all #black errthang even though the sun is coming out! But I’m really baffled as to why people are complaining about #Kylie looking inappropriate for her age – when I was 17 I was definitely wearing more risqué outfits, experimenting with makeup and trying to walk in sky high #stilettos…the difference is, she’s killing the look whereas I most definitely did not! I’ve seen a similar pair of heels in New Look which may also be a bit easier to walk in. I really like #Miley’s jumpsuit, to me it’s kind of demure but with a sexy edge. Missguided have got a really similar one that’ll look as hot (I’m hoping) as the summer nights will be! Chloe’s look has a similar take but she’s toning it down with the #pastel jacket which creates a more laid back vibe which I really like. The jacket is by Lavish Alice and I predict it’ll be a spring sell out, so get it or regret it!
Charli XCX has gone from ‘I’m so Fancaaaay’ to I’m too funkaay! Hehe. This is a really good combination of the 70s and 90s trends which is what I’m trying to channel at the moment – and I really want this #coord stat! It can be bought from #ASOS Here . They have quite a few great coords along these vibes at the moment worth a look. Nicole is another gal who’s definitely improving with age (although I’m not into this hair on her) and this is such a super chich airport look! Try as I might I don’t think I travel this stylishly… A good brogue and coat can do that for any outfit – this La Sula #coat is a good alternative as the lighter material means it’ll transition better, and Missguided have some awesome #brogues.
Let’s here it for the Blondies and their fab outfits! You can never go wrong with a good fitting #jumpsuit for your shape as it can be dressed up or down like the lovely Mollie. Hers is from her upcoming ‘Loved By Mollie’ collection for #Oasis, in the meantime you can pick up a similar version at Missguided. All hail The Whitmore and her double denim 70s homage! Adore her and this look in equal measure – the people of #hull better prepare for my shameless imitation strutting round the town shortly…I also adore Ashley’s dress a the cut out detail is really interesting and different to what we’ve seen before. Even better you can pick up her exact version at AX Paris for a fashionable bargain (in this gorgeous cream or chic navy)
What else would one of the fashion industry’s models of the moment wear to the premier of #Cinderella other than a floaty #princess gown, like, really?!?! #Suki looks totally dreamy….Bradley Cooper may not be her Prince Charming but gurl is getting her game back ooooon in this beautiful number! I ADORE.

FASHION/ Wedding Fever
Spring is springing, which means it’s now starting to move towards ‘wedding season’. I recently teamed with Weddington Way, a U.S. based brand, to create some #bridesmaid looks to inspire those of you taking the plunge soon. As its mine and Mr Alice’s #wedding anniversary next week it seems the perfect time to reminisce! Here’s what I came up with….
Gradients of colour
I like the look of the same colour in different shades as it strikes a really nice balance between each girl standing out and also looking pulled together and cohesive. Especially if the dresses are all in one style, this Audrey Hepburn esque shape is totally gorgoeus for the pink looks. The blue looks are just as classic but may be more flattering around the neckline for some body shapes. Both of my fave colours!
Tutti Fruity
These colours would be perfect for a summer wedding – the sun is shining, love is in the air and there’s a cocktail I. Your hand to toast the happy couple! They can easily be covered over with a wrap or short jacket if a more demure look is needed for a church service, and they would also look gorgeous on a wedding guest with some great accessories.
Clean and Simple
Of course I had to get monochrome in there somehow! This is kind of different take on the gradient theme. You may raise your eyebrows at my decision to include a white dress, but a lot of brides are opting to have them to keep the bridal party’s look really clean and simple. Kim K is a fan, she’s had white bridesmaid dresses as her previous two weddings.
Sex and the Citaaaaaay
My final looks are inspired by the ultimate fashionable wedding (that sadly never was) of Carrie Bradshaw in SATC1- each of the maids were in these colours and a different style of dress so I thought I’d pick spstyles that were about figure hugging and sexy draping to commemorate their fabulousness!

Good Old Fashion(able) Street Style
When I see dark colour palettes it makes me desperately want to hang on to the A/W style just a little bit longer! It can get warmer, just stay a bit grey please Mother Nature.
I don’t look this good when I’m ‘off duty’ like Kendall and Chloe- thinking about it there’s no reason I shouldn’t because all they’ve done is chuck on some black skinnies, ankle boots and a fab jacket…and we all have those in our wardrobe right?
Ferne is so just frickin cool in that she tries things and owns whatever she has on, and I feel like she’s stepped this up even more since she launched her blog. I read that her look is a mixture of ASOS and Top Shop but I haven’t been able to find the links for the pieces to share, sorry!
Girls on the Town
Emma and Amanda are the type of women who give me hope- they’ve looked after themselves and continue to always make an effort and as a result they get better with age. I want this for myself! Emma’s colour blocking look is a bit retro but looks really cute (and that haircut is awesome!) and a look we all totally work as it gets warmer.
Amanda and Kendall are wearing such simple dresses but look amazing because they’ve worked that ‘effortlessly tousled’ vibe. Pink Princesses and Red Devils
I’m just gonna go ahead and say it – if wearing head to toe bubblegum pink (complete with fluff) is wrong, then I don’t wanna be right! Slay it RiRi gurl…. You probably know by now that I have a long running J-Lo obsession, so she’s really just here cos she looks her usually hot self. It’s Renee who pulls my interest a little more – the last pics we saw of her raised eyebrows because…because well we all thought she’d been toms urge on to raise her eyesbrows! But these pics (I’ve seen them with her glasses off) she looks how we remember her so it was either a bad shot or…well a bad shot that wore off! She looks great working this Audrey Helburn viva in Paris. Nice work Bridget. Hehe.
Hands Down Glamour
I’ve been hijacking instagram again (I’m thisisjennychat if anyone wants to come and say hey) and this nail/ringspo courtesy of Khloe K and Beyonce got me too excited that I had to share…Queen Bey even has a Bee ring!! This is such a glam look and I’m all about mixi and statement rings at the minute. Cherry Diva and Boohoo have some fab designs at her moment if you want to recreate the look.
