FASHION/ The Bomb(er) dot com

My coat addiction has definitely been honed into a bomber jacket fetish – I think this is my fifth this year?!?! My justification is that the lovely blush/beige colour will carry me through to spring, and the soft suede fabric was too dreamy to resist…

Thanks to my girl Beckie for taking these pics in the most windswept conditions!            This last pic may appear sideways. It uploaded the right way up, so I’m damned if I know why!

This is a fab way to wear all black but not look like you’re wearing you’re wearing all black – don’t get me wrong, I’m super happy rocking the moody/ninja vibes, but it’s nice to break it up a bit sometimes. You may not be able to see in these pics, but the heel on my boots adds an extra dimension to the all black too (you can see more of them in a previous post here)

Has anyone else developed a similar kind of coat obsession? I need to know I’m in good company over here!

FASHION/ It was Curious Alice rocking mustard, in the street, with the sass

Do you like my witty Cluedo inspired post title? Well, im impressed with it!

I’m OBSESSED with this waterfall coat- really, how I could I not be?? Since buying it I’ve had people stop me in the street to say how much they love it and how chic it looks…not bad considering it was a £25 impulse buy. I also have it another colour (shock of all horrors right) which I may share with you sometime soon.

These boots are real leather and a steal for under £40; I wear them allllll the time  I feel like the rest of the outfit is kind of ‘sassy spy’ with the all black/sleek/roll neck – Bond seems to wear a roll neck a lot in his down time so it much be true, hehe.

I’d really like the title of this post to start some kinda fashion-Cluedo trend, sompleeeaaaassssse somebody pick it up pick it up pick it up!

FASHION & LIFESTYLE / Stylings of a Graduate

And just like that, it’s actually happened….I’m officially a graduate!

It felt such a huge decision to quite my full time job at 28 and embark on this 4yr challenge, which at times has felt like an impossible struggle, but I made it. I more than made it actually, I did pretty well! Without uni I wouldn’t have started writing my blog, and without blogging I wouldn’t have met some of the loveliest people I know, so it’s been worth it in a lot of ways. I’m happier all round for the experience.

Finding the perfect graduation outfit has been a struggle – the uni want you wear something smart/formal, but as a girl you wanna wear something pretty! I feel like I’ve been thinking about it for most of my degree, and my final choice isn’t a look I expected to go for. I also had MAJE last minute shoe drama – I had a pair of gorge caged heels ready to go and then realised that each shoe was a different size…so although I like these shoes, I had intended to wear something a bit more statement under the robe.

(Pics were taken throughout the day so are a little more candid than usual…you know how these events are)

I almost wore white underwear…after seeing the dress went a lil’ see through with the camera flash I’m glad I didn’t! The perfect dress as its slinky, comfy and stylishly ruched own the sides, as inspired by my gurl Kim K. I’ll be taking it with me to Vegas too so I may post it on here again (it’ll definitely be on Instagram so make sure you’re following)

Outfit: Dress Pretty Little Thing / Shoes Boohoo

Details: River Island / Sungalsses Cherry Diva / Lip Colour Rimmel Kate Shade 01

That’s all for now, it’s been quite a week so far!
